Thank you very much indeed for the comprehensive final report.

As it has been in the past your attention to detail and general assistance is of the highest standard and it was of great comfort to us knowing that you were involved with the MH63.

I think this is the 2nd or 3rd boat you have handled for us and rest assured that we will be using your services again in the future.

Should the occasion arise to recommend a surveyor you can count on us recommending you and your company.

Thank you very much for all your kind efforts in this project. Your help and professionalism is very highly appreciated and I hope we will have more chances to work together in the future.

The team at Geoff Waddington did an excellent job in my yacht right throughout the process of build.

I think they were a critical element of getting a great boat and they really ensured that all the usual corners that [the shipyard] tried to cut were rejected.

Very strong recommendation.

Private Owner - 34 Metre Yacht, New Build Survey Project
Geoff Waddington & Partners Limited have represented one of our Clients in the recent past. In fact they are continuing to represent in the lead up to delivery of a SS Predator 115 which was recently on display at the London Boat Show. We are due to take delivery of that yacht in March and GW have followed the build from start to finish as they did the previous yacht for the same Owner. Throughout the two builds I have worked on with them (the first was an 88 Yacht) I have found them to be extremely professional in both their general approach and in their reporting. They strike the right balance of keeping Sunseeker ‘onside’ to the point that the yard is actually cooperative and being able to take them to task when things are not to the high standard that our own very demanding (Russian) client would wish for.

The GW team have acted as a go-between with the Owner, managers, crew, lawyers, flag state/class and shipyard and as such have gone beyond their contracted remit some distance. During the build process we were issued with almost monthly reports covering the main points of interest and now things have moved up a gear this has been replaced with an ongoing construction log (snagging list) which all parties are using, driven by the survey team. Now that she is undergoing finishing they will have almost a permanent presence on board.

Managing Director, SuperYachtsMonaco
Geoff Waddington and Partners Limited have been the appointed surveyors for Princess Yachts Cyprus for the last seven years and in that period have managed and completed the new build projects of many production models from Princess Yachts based in Plymouth, Devon, UK. Effectively the surveyors act as our UK agents and this is an important role, especially for communicating to the factory and ensuring production schedules and quality standards are adhered to. The company, which now has six surveyors I believe, has completed inspections on dozens of yachts for us ranging from 39’ to 85’ and their role in the process in unjustifiable. In addition to the new build, acceptance and handover inspections we have also worked closely together on other projects including yacht shipping, damage inspections and private owner work from our recommendation.

They have in the past been a great asset for the purposes of warranty inspections, specifically with an 85’ in 2011 which required a great deal of warranty interest after a rushed build slot and further damages during shipment. I would be happy to endorse a recommendation and would advise you to insist to your owner that their input is vital to the success of such a project.

Just a short note to let you know that I enjoyed this week very much. Geoff was an excellent instructor and was able to get across the course both in a practical environment as well as the more traditional classroom setting and illustrated his subject with many stories drawn from considerable experience.

On behalf of SOCA I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your valued contribution towards bringing this international drug trafficking investigation to a successful conclusion as, without such excellent co-operation, it would be difficult for SOCA to present good quality evidence to the Courts for consideration.

Very efficient service. We felt the boat was surveyed by a professional and we felt problems would be found by Geoff if there were any to be found.
